Friends the tragedy of Magistrate Judge Ron Newtons senseless and tragic death has caused much grief through out our community -- you may know that Rita Newton - Rons wife was severely injured in the same accident - reports back to the county are that Rita has severely broken legs / a broken pelvis and foot / and is bleeding internally / please remember her in your prayers and their children - as well as the employees of the Fannin County Courthouse - your elected officials and their staff are a close group -- Rita has been an employee in the Tax Commissioners office for many years -- their work family is greatly distraught - one having had to be hospitalized with chest pains -- so much pain and tragedy -- find someone to hug - you will both feel better
