Friends, this is the truth of our situation. This is not from a liberal source, it is from Forbes. As long as a substantial portion of working Americans cannot earn a living wage, we, the taxpayers, pick up the tab for what employers will not pay. This is simply not sustainable. If, in your conservative mindset, you are against government assistance for the working poor, then, join progressives in demanding that employers pay workers a living wage, it is that simple.
