Friends... this next month will be very surreal and exciting in my home as we prepare for the ultimate right of passage for Miss Chelsea Goodwin. This year kicked off with the most fear and uncertainty any parent could ever feel. But as the days and weeks moved on and Chelsea got stronger and friends, family, and strangers near and far showered us with love, prayers, thoughts, and support of all kinds, this year has continued to be one of peace and humility only ever experienced, could truly be felt. Id like to take a moment and thank all those who have been with my family through the fear and now the new found peace. Please know whether it was prayer, thought, note, message, or physical act of kindness or form of support, there is no level lesser when it comes to my thanks and gratitude to all of you. I ask to please be patient with me as my goal is to thank each of you personally, and the overwhelming acts have been too numerous to humanly keep up with. This not only warms my heart, but also unfortunately takes some time to thank you all personally. But until that time, please know how very grateful and thankful I am to EACH and EVERYONE of you family, friends, friends of friends, teachers, coworkers, and even pure strangers, who rushed to my side out of pure human love, to assure me I was not alone in my fight to bring my daughter back from the brink of death. You will forever be in my heart and there will never be enough words, thank you letters, or updates I could do for all of you to express my undying gratitude.
