Friends we made it to Puerto Vallarta! I had a close group of friends that booked the Maximus to Cabo but Hurricane Maria changed our plans. We fished for 3 days out front of Ensenada for Yellowfin tuna, yellows and dorado as we waited for the Storm to pass. A nice ride down passing Cedros and mag bay. The Thetis Bank was wide open on Wahoo and tuna. A load of fuel in Cabo and we were running again with TS Norbert on our bow. Made safely in PV for our first trip of the season. The Port Capt held us for a bit then we were good to fish the bay and offshore yesterday. Didnt have time to go where we wanted but out friends from Texas had a killer time. Well be seeing them soon. Inshore needle fish and jacks. We were greeted with wide open dorado in all sizes, a sailfish and a 400 lb blue marlin release 2 min before the sun went down. Everything is looking great.
