Friends, when life throws you a curve ball, it helps to know that you have a strong net of support. I am asking for a few minutes of your time, perhaps you can help in one form or another, or at least, read this story. Carolyn Van, a young, driven, and energetic woman with a thirst for living full and dancing her butts off when shes not empowering others or making ideas happen. Then life threw her a curve ball. For the past few months, shes been battling against lymphoma cancer. Not only she cant really dance right now to keep her spirit high, but shes also facing some other difficulties. Being a self-employed entrepreneur, shes taking some serious financial hits. A group of us are organizing a fundraiser in Carolyns honour with the goal of raising $20,000 to help offset the ton of bills that our friend is facing. The No Good Woman Left Behind fundraiser will be an evening filled with live performances, familiar faces as well new connections to be made in our thriving community of entrepreneurs and self-starters. Produced by Carla Catherwood, who leads the women-empowering dance movement High Heels High Hopes, the evening will be full of energy. There will be both silent and live auctions of sweet sweet items from our supporters (thank you!!). How can you help?
