Friends, while I normally keep my volunteer time private, I would like to share a tidbit in the hopes that you can help. I spend a few mornings a month at the Market Street Food Pantry in downtown Newark where we serve roughly 30-50 families twice a week. We often have shortages and those increase based on timing and number of donations. There are a few key items such as peanut butter that we are constantly without and Im hoping that by posting this, you might be willing to help us. If you could purchase an extra jar or two the next time you are at the store and drop them by the flower shop, Village Flower Basket at 1090 River Rd in Granville, I would be ever so grateful. I dont have any added incentive except the thankfulness of the people you are feeding, but I promise that is more than enough! Please share this status as well as my information and if you have any questions, feel free to ask or message me. I would love to show the amazing people that work there as well as those that come, just how much we can give!!! Thank you!!!
