Plus its time for the Zombie Prom! October 26, 2013 The Zombies are Coming to October Comic Fest on 6th Street in Downtown Bristol! Plus its time for the Zombie Prom! On Saturday, October 26 from 10 am — 6 pm, 6th Street in Bristol TN is shutting the street to traffic and inviting you to attend October Comic Fest. The Merchants of 6th street will be holding specials and bringing their wares outside for this event, as well as setting up vendors, artists, authors, and craftsmen. Handcrafted jewelry, live magic demos from Dave Vaught, book signings from several authors, original art and prints, and FREE COMICS from Mountain Empire Comics are some of the items that will be offered. And thats not all! * Live Gaming will be available as a Table Top Zombie Survival RPG, starting at 10am. Games will be able to seat 10-12 players at a time, and will run a new game every two hours. * Of course, what respectable zombie would come out in public without their zombie paint on? Come dressed as your favorite zombie, or get yourself painted up during the event. Zombie painting effects will be available for purchase, as well as the more gross effects such as bites, wounds, infections, etc... so come prepared to get zombified. * Little Italy Pizza will be offering a 10% off special all day, and if you show your receipt from Little Italy to Mountain Empire Comics, you will get a 10% discount from them, too! * Appalachy Kettle Corn will be with us, also. * Holly Help Spay Neuter will be presenting Zombies VS Feral Cats, and Sue Williams has some cool things for all you zombies to do, and contests to enter. * Trick or Treat for the little ones will be available, too, so be sure to bring the kiddies down 6th Street! Vendor spaces are still available on a limited basis, and the event is free to set up, and free to attend! Come on out and see what all our street we have affectionately dubbed the Bristol Triangle (named after the Bermuda Triangle) has to offer! We are not your typical Bristol street! And dont forget to come on over afterward to the Train Station, and attend the Zombie Prom from 6-8! First Annual Zombie Prom After the October Comic Fest, bring your Zombie self on down to the Train Station from 6-8 for our First Annual Zombie Prom! Night Moves Mobile DJs will provide some excellent dance music to shake your zombie groove. Zombie Finger Foods and drinks will be provided, sure to sate any zombie appetite! Tickets are 20 per person, or 30 per couple at the door, or 15 in person and 25 per couple in ADVANCE. Kids under 10 are free, and kids from 10-14 are 5 bucks. Bowen Photography will be taking your Zombie Prom pictures for an additional price of $10. Family friendly dancing and partying with all your zombie friends..e be a part of zombie history in Bristol!
