Friends, you know where my heart is for orphans, and that Open Hearts and Homes for Children has opened many doors for orphans from Latvia and Ukraine, as well as for many host families. My heart still yearns to help these children even though I cannot host this summer. (about to give birth to our miracle child) If you feel led to help with a child, but dont feel led to host at this time, you can still make a big impact! I have a local friend who is stepping out on faith to host an older child. This family has a personal mission to reach out to older children. (Def on my heart as well, as the older kids are usually the ones who get overlooked by potential families.) Please, pray for this program, pray for this family, and pray for this child.
