Friendship You probably wonder why I posted the lyrics of “In my Life” by the Beatles before and now the Youve Got a Friend by James Taylor. I just wanted to share with you a story of Friendship. Dr.Tony Romero was a General Surgeon. He had his training at the Ospital ng Maynila. We worked together in Oman in 1987. Mga Overseas Contract Workers (OCW) po kami. I went back to Manila after a year of work to pursue my training in Plastic Surgery. He remained in Oman for more than 20 years to work and support his family. When we were together I became close to him and his family. Since I was still single then, I spent more time with them going to the church, market, malls, etc. We used my car in going around. He doesnt drive and didnt have the car. His kids ,1 boy and 3 girls (1 twin), loved me and treated me like an uncle kasi mabait at guwapo da w ako (hahaha). They are now grown up. They are still close to me. One of them, Jasmin Romero is now a TV anchor at ABS-CBN. Pag nagkakaedad na po tayo, medyo emotional and expressive na.
