Friendship is a personal relationship shared between each friend for the welfare of each other. In other words, its the relationship of trust, faith and concern for each other feelings. Its a relationship of mutual caring and platonic intimacy between each another. A friend is one who knows you as a person and regards you for what you are and not what he or she is looking for in a good friend. A best friend is one who accepts the good as well bad qualities of his/her friend and also takes an initiative in correcting and mending them. Friendship is a distinctive kind of concern for your friend, it is a relationship of immense faith and love for each other. Friendship is not all about merry-making and fun, hanging out together and partying, it involves equal loyalty from both parties. True friendship is one of the very few relationships that manages to survive throughout life with its trials and tribulations and remains unconditional with no expectation from the other benefiting from the friendship. It is a unique blend of affection, loyalty, love, respect, trust and loads of fun is perhaps what describes the true meaning of friendship. Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other are what friends share between each other. These are just the general traits of a friendship. To experience what friendship is one must have true friends, who are indeed a real rarity.
