Friendships are real relationships. Recently Ive noted how, if you fight with or break up with a friend, the rest of your social circle glosses over it and diminishes it. After all, there arent friends counseling sessions that I know of. You can even get more sympathy after a fling than when you lose a friend of many years. But my friends have been as meaningful and life altering as my parents, sister, husband, etc. In the past couple of years especially, weve helped each other through a lot. Thank you, friends.
