Fright in Paris The developing crisis in Paris is a new angle of an old tactic. Though the body count is far less, the intent of the terrorists is the same as the ones who created our 9/11 tragedy: to foment HATE and stir up BIGOTRY. In situations like this, the visceral reaction is to strike back at all Muslims, a serious mistake that plays directly into the terrorists hands. Radical Islamists WANT to create a religious war with all non-Islamic cultures, much as radical Christians want the same to create the Apocalypse. Both sides mis-read their own religious doctrines for their own purposes. The task of rational people is not to REACT, but ACT wisely in this crisis. Quickly bring to justice the perpetrators of this terrible crime, but do not paint the entire Islamic world with the same brush. Do not listen to the hate from the radical Islamists, and do not listen to the hate from radical Christians. Both camps want nothing less than a hate war.--mamie van doren
