From 28 - 30 October British Council in partnership with Action For Development (ACFODE) with the support of the European Union (EU) held a training on Equal Opportunity and Diversity at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel. The aim of the training was to share best practices in the area of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (EOD) and to inspire partners and community leaders to mainstream EOD in their activities. The training was conducted by Ms. Janni Nielsen, Programme Manager British Council Denmark. Present was Peter Brown, Country Director British Council; Marianne Kiggundu, Regional Manager Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowship Plan; Regina Bafaki, Executive Director ACFODE; Zaminah Malole, Member of the Equal Opportunities Commission and members from Action For Development (ACFODE).
