From 5/14 The Journal Gazette: New ownership Lee Pomerantz calls himself a serial entrepreneur, with most of his experience in online businesses. But when the opportunity to buy one of his eMedia Technologies, Inc. customers came up, he and partner Lee Lemon couldnt resist. Pomerantz and Lemon bought Our Daily Brew, 5906 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Time Corners, and have been operating the business since March 1. The store, which has been in operation for 34 years, is known for its extensive collection of loose-leaf teas (more than 150 varieties) and specialty coffees (65 types). Pomerantz says there are no plans to alter that – if anything, the selection will grow. But there are changes underfoot. The store is opening earlier, now at 7:30 a.m. every day; there is free Wi-Fi; outdoor seating is available; and a bakery section has been added. The hope, Pomerantz says, is to encourage customers to get a drink, sit in the store, get on Wi-Fi and chill out. Our Daily Brew closes at 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at 5 p.m. Sunday.
