From AFSI: the French continue appeasement Mahmoud Abbas Marching Against Terrorism? By Leon Szmedra - AFSI member and frequent Mission participant It was a mild winter day when Yohan Cohen, Yoav Hattab, Phillipe Braham, and Francois-Michel Saada, decided to go shopping in preparation of the upcoming Sabbath. Their thoughts may have been of family, friends, flowers and Challah. This ended on Friday afternoon 2 January 2015, when Islamic terrorist Amedy Coulibaly walked into the Hyper Cacher, a kosher market on the eastern edge of Paris and murdered the four Jewish men. Coulibalys colleagues were the Kouachi brothers, who in the name of Allah murdered 12 journalists at Charlie Hebdo magazine headquarters a day before. Whos to blame First France: in an attempt to integrate its Muslim minority into the fabric of Republican society it has allowed Islamic terrorist to run free and dictate to the majority. Only five years earlier, the French government had regarded Amedy Coulibaly as a model. In 2009, Mr. Coulibaly was an employee of Coca-Cola Co., earning him a spot in a special ceremony hosted by then-President Nicolas Sarkozy at the Élysée Palace [WSJ, 9Jan 2015]. Second France: the French intelligence community knew for years of the terrorist activities of Amedy Coulibaly, Cherif and Said Kouachi but failed to act perhaps in an attempt to maintain quiet. Not unlike other western nations including Israel. Maintaining quiet has cost lives of countless innocent victims...On 12 June 2014 within hours after the kidnapping of Naftali Fraenkel, Gilad Shaer and Eyal Yifrah The IDF initiated Operation Brothers Keeper resulting in the arrested of 350 suspected terrorists including nearly all of Hamas West Bank leaders. Later (20 August 2014), Hamas proudly claimed responsibility of the kidnapping and murders. Like France, Israel knew but failed to act on the imminent terrorist threat to maintain the status quo. Third France: In the aftermath of the weeks carnage France invited Mahmoud Abbas and Ahmet Davutoglu to attend the memorial/anti-terrorist march in Paris. Turkeys prime minister Davutoglu, has for years actively backed Hamas, a group designated as a terrorist organization by Australia, Canada, Egypt, Israel, Japan, the United States, Jordan and The United Kingdom (sort of) Marching hand in hand with Davutoglu was Mahmoud Abbas. There is a long list of Islamic terrorist attacks and their direct relationship with Mahmoud Abbas. Most noted was his role as the financier of the Abu Daoud / Black September murder of 11 Israeli Olympic athletes along with a German police officer in Munich in 1972. Years Later (2010) Abbas praised Abu Daoud, saying he was one of the leading figures of Fatah and spent his life in resistance and sincere work as well as physical sacrifice for his peoples just causes. Blame falls directly in the lap of France: its appeasement to Islamic terror as indicated by a reluctance to act against Cherif Kouachi, Said Kouachi, and Amedy Coulibaly prior to their murderous attacks followed an invitation to those that both support and or are directly involved in terrorism to the feel good Paris event.
