From Afghanistan: My apologies for taking so long to reply back to y’all, but it has been very hectic here. This is the first time I’ve actually been able to sit down in front of a computer for more than five minutes. Anyways I wanted to relay my thanks from my Soldiers and myself for the care packages! I can’t tell you how much it means to us here that we have such great support from back home. When I originally contacted y’all I honestly did not expect the response received, attached are a few photos that some of the Solider in the company took for y’all as a thank you. I also was able to make a kind of morale wall with all the letters and drawings we have received since we have been in country from all the families and friends. I figured this would be the fastest way to relay our gratitude, but I do have a few hand written letters from the Soldiers here with their individual thank yous. I have them labeled and ready to go, so the next time I am at the main base here with a post office I’ll send them off. I’d rather hand carry them to the post instead of sending them back on one of the helos, as I never know if they make it there or not. Again thank you for everything y’all do, it means a lot to us here!
