From Air BnB Eliza D Aaron was such a good host that within 4 nights we were seriously considering moving to Chamonix. The location is fantastic - youre a 20ish minute walk from town center, but more importantly, just a 5 minute walk to rock climbing, a 15 minute walk to trails up to Les Bossons Glacier, and just a 10 minute uphill jog up to spectacular views of the Alps! Aaron made us delicious breakfasts each morning (frittata, quiche, scrambled eggs, plus cereals, toast, and delicious fancy coffee!), and even made everyone a wonderful fondue dinner on our last night in Chamonix! Plus, when we mentioned we rock climb but didnt bring any equipment with us, he loaned us ALL his gear (rope, harnesses, chalk and even shoes) so we could have an incredible day of rock climbing in the Alps. Our room was adorable, very clean, had a view of the Alps as well as a balcony! The living room downstairs has two large couches for lounging, a big map of Chamonix trails and mountains that Aaron knows very well and can explain to you, and a kitchen youre allowed to use for cooking if you like. The backyard has a hammock with an incredible view of the Alps - it is impossible not to feel relaxed here. In short...stay here!!
