From Angie Holderfield~UPDATE ON KEVIN: As you may know, we recently took a trip to Emory in Atlanta to see about Kevin participating in an experimental drug trial that has several doctors very excited. It has a 20-30% success rate of halting the growth of melanoma. The doctors did a thorough evaluation and determined that Kevin was too weak to endure the drug. They tried to find something abnormal in his blood work, like low iron, that they might could fix to help strengthen him, but all they could find were evidence of aggressively growing disease. Sadly, they have given him a one month prognosis. I still believe in Gods healing touch. I still see evidence of God working in our lives through our friends and family. I believe the promise that He will never leave us or forsake us! Pray for a miracle, and believe that God in his infinite wisdom has a big plan in which He will be glorified, regardless of the outcome. Pray for Kevins comfort and ease of pain, and please pray for our children. Thank you, everyone, for your compassion.
