From Ann Brooks On behalf of the Trustees of the charity which runs the skate park at The Pioneer Club, I would like to assure everybody that we are not closing down. The sale of the Ariston site has been mooted for about 2 decades, and although it is now seemingly going ahead, the charity are working extremely hard negotiating with both County and District Councils to ensure all the good work our charity does will continue even when we are moved (although we are likely to remain on the existing site). We firmly believe that this will include provision of a skate park. We are of course happy for individuals to have their say regards the public consultation, and the more people who support our skate park the better, but it is not the view of the charity that we are under threat.
