From Anonymous Back in 2001 I was living north of Georgetown Texas when my grandfather took ill and went into a coma. As I was driving back to Kingsville to be with the family and see my grandfather for the last time, I found myself very tired and needed to take a nap. I parked at the rest area south of San Antonio on 37 and napped for a few hours. I woke up looking at the clock and knew I needed to get back on the road: it was about 1 in the morning. at about 230 in the morning my dog, who normally sits in the passenger seat was in the back of the cab of my pick-up, growling toward the passenger seat. I looked over to see a shadowy gray figure sitting in the passenger seat. For a moment, time stood still. You would think that this sight would have caused me to become frightened. On the contrary, the mood was peaceful and strangely calm. Within moments, the passenger window rolled down a crack, causing a deafening rush of air to fill the cab. As soon as the firgure had manifested, it was gone. My dog jumped back into his seat and we continued on our journey. I arrived an hour and a half later only to find out that my grandfather passed at 2:30 A M. My grandmother told me that he held on as long as he could to see me. I told her of my experience. She was happy to know that he did have a chance to see me before he left this earth.
