From Apostle Eric: Sunday August 10th Romans 8:6 Contrast of the law of Moses to the law of Christ Examining Deuteronomy 28 and the curses against the faithless. God punishes the sinners for breaking His covenant. For those of the flesh cannot please God. The power of God teaches us that we were created for greater things but we cannot understand what that is until the time of its fulfilment. But sinners desire to playout that power now to escape the biting frustration of loss they feel in the flesh. The tokens of Christ cool down that frustration by our faith in Him. Make it a goal to start memorizing the Bible with a verse a week. Start with Psalms chapter 1 if you like. 1. I started in 1972 memorizing Psalms 1 and have reached now 51 chapters including all of Titus, Epistles of 1st 2nd 3rd John and Jude. It will pay off in your future. So think ahead for His glory. 2.
