From B A L L G A M E to Kaput * * * I tweeted the infamous BALLGAME with the Packers leading 19-7 and getting their fifth turnover of the game. But, sometimes, even having the best quarterback of a generation cannot overcome frightened playcalling, exhausted defense and an unwillingness to win instead of playing not to lose. Green Bay was guilty of the last three there at the end. However, during the game, it pained me to watch Seattle QB Russell Wilson struggling at such a level that he was. He is a true role model in professional sports. Wilson visits sick kids in Seattle each week, tries to inspire people through positive words and actions. Russell Wilson was also the best quarterback my alma water (Wisconsin) will ever see. As he will get the big money contract this summer, I hope that a piece of his one year in Wisconsin (2011) will always stay with him. Hes the best of what we ask for in a celebrity. Yes, Im a Green Bay Packers but also thrilled for Wilson that he will get a shot at winning a second Super Bowl. This was a fun year. A stomach punch finish, to be sure, but a fun year.
