From Balfour Beatty FLW Housing: In response to numerous questions we have received from our residents, Balfour Beatty Communities will be at work to support our families living on post regardless of a government furlough or shutdown. We will be here and will continue to work to meet the needs of you and your family. In the event that military pay and/or your basic allowance for housing (BAH) is interrupted, we will not require rent for active duty and reserve soldiers to be paid out of pocket. Rent will become due and payable once the government furlough is over and service members have received their BAH. Balfour Beatty Communities will not impose late fees, or any other penalties to their accounts as a result of this situation.
