From Bishop Gary Mueller... “Maybe It’s Time” The outpouring of compassion in response to the tornado that ravaged Mayflower and Vilonia, Arkansas this past Sunday has been overwhelming. All kinds of help has come from all kinds of places. People from around the globe have been praying, Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church Early Disaster Responders were on the scene quickly, churches are collecting everything from diapers to water, generous donations have been given to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, the Arkansas Conference and the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the Connections Band in the North Texas Conference is donating the proceeds from its May 2 concert to relief efforts and people have shown up to do whatever is needed. Surely this ability to see beyond all the things that usually divide us and come together to share God’s love must bring a smile to God’s face. So maybe it’s time for us to treat each other this way all the time. #GodNMe
