From Bloomberg: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will travel - TopicsExpress

From Bloomberg: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will travel to Wisconsin this weekend to watch his beloved Dallas Cowboys play the Green Bay Packers, this time on his own dime, a spokesman said. Christie and his son Andrew will be at Lambeau Field for the playoff game. It will be the sixth Cowboys game he’s attended this season and the first since he was widely criticized for sitting in a luxury box as the guest of team owner Jerry Jones last week. He’ll even wear the now-famous orange sweater, which he’s sported at each game. Jones called Christie and the sweater “part of our mojo.” Christie’s attendance at Cowboys games has attracted criticism ranging from jabs over rooting against New York and Philadelphia teams to a request by a national Democratic group for a review by the New Jersey Ethics Commission. A video of Christie attempting to high-five and then hugging Jones was widely distributed on the Internet this week, leading to ridicule. The 52-year-old Republican is considered a potential candidate for president in 2016. “As a lifelong Cowboys fan, it’s hard to pass up attending a playoff game when you’ve been dubbed part of the team’s mojo,” a spokesman for Christie said in a statement. “The governor will be paying for travel and tickets for himself, his sweater and his son to make sure we keep silliness out of the football season.” Christie plans to watch the game in Jerry Jones’s box. https://youtube/watch?v=LT_y5qri00o
