A Pete Seeger Appreciation Page admits that Seeger joined the [Communist] Party in 1942...Another entry discusses his tour of the Soviet Union in 1965. Al Jazeera America ran an article titled In Defense Of Pete Seeger: American Communist. The Washington Post wrote that Seeger was an actual Stalinist...Its not that Seeger did a lot of good despite his longtime ties to the Communist Party, he did a lot of good because he was a Communist. #2 * OBAMA PRAISED PETE SEEGER ~ In the presidents official Statement by the President on the Passing of Pete Seeger, Obama proclaimed that Seeger was one to stand up for whats right, speak out against whats wrong, and move this country closer to the America he knew we could be. Ahhh...did he just say what I think he said? #3 * OBAMA COACHED BY BONA FIDE COMMUNIST ~ Obama was tutored by Communist Party operative Frank Marshall Davis during his growing-up years in Hawaii. #4 * CARD-CARRYING COMMUNISTS IN THE WHITE HOUSE ~ Top Senior White House Advisor (Mother Superior), Valarie Jarrett, described as The Most Dangerous Woman In America, comes from Communist leanings, her own family. Were talking about the same Valarie Jarrett family which was also involved with Frank [Marshall] Davis, the former head of the Communist Party in the United States. Now theres one more White House-Communist Party plant to cover here, a gentleman by the name of Van Jones. Never heard of him? Well, you will now! Obama hired him! On the Al Jazeera website, we find: Along with Angela Davis and other prominent former Communist Party members, he [Seeger] helped form the Committees for Democracy and Socialism [CCDS], a democratic socialist group, in 1991. This was a spin-off from the Communist Party after the fall of the Soviet Union. OK! Enter Van Jones, stage left: The Bay Area branch of the CCDS held a fundraiser in February 2006 featuring a local activist named Van Jones, who would later become an official of the Obama White House. He resigned when his communist background came to light, but now works for CNN.
