From Brittany: I look at photos of you, read your stories and see how many people loved you, I cry... I have cried since the moment they loaded you into the ambulance, I cried for hope and now for loss. I cry for your son, your family, your friends and your comrades. I cannot make sense of this at all, nor will anyone ever. You died a hero, and you will for eternity be remembered. If only you could see the impact you made on so many peoples lives, even if they never met you. Canada lost a hero, a true born protector, I feel this loss so deeply yet I never met you, I send so many heart felt condolences to your family and friends.
