From D.A Rob Patridge On Wednesday, January 21, 2015, the Klamath County Major Crime Team arrested Joseph Everett Woodward (DOB 5-16-82) for the Murder of Donald Clinton Black. Mr. Black was murdered on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at approximately 2:10 a.m. in the 2000 Block of Montelius Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon. In addition, Woodward was also charged with delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana, manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. The Klamath Falls Police Department SWAT Team and the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office SRT Team were activated to apprehend Woodward. Search warrants were served at multiple locations within Klamath County. The Major Crime Team is still actively seeking information from the public about a white four door vehicle, believed to be a newer model Honda Civic, leaving the area of Montelius Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. The Major Crime Team has contacted Zachary Nathaniel Craig (DOB 10-16-1990) a prior person of interest in the Black murder investigation. Craig is no longer a person of interest at this time. The Klamath County Major Crime Team is comprised of the Klamath County Sheriffs Office, Klamath Falls Police Department, Oregon State Police, Klamath County Community Corrections, and Klamath County District Attorneys Office. ###
