From Damascus, VA at Trail Days. Thank you everyone for your offers of help to last weekends request. Gods providence for us on the trail is amazing. This is the first internet connection Ive had for days, sorry I couldnt respond to everyone personally :) We got back on the trail Tuesday am with some help from the YWAM team out here. They shuttled and slackpacked us for a few miles. Damiens foot is almost completely healed but I got sick coming into Damascus. Getting sick (gastroenteritis) corresponded with the biggest downpour weve had yet on the trail. Literally, when it rains it pours. Quite the week weve had but our needs are always met. Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts. I *truly* wish I had the time to convey, in writing, what a *life changing experience* this hike has been for our family. Words fail and have so little time to write them anyway. xo, Renee
