From David and Rona Smith Subject: Reminder: Demonstration in Support of Immigrant Rights on Saturday, March 8 Dear Sisters and Brothers, This is a reminder that a spirited demonstration in support of immigrant rights will be held next Saturday, March 8, at 2 pm, at 3333 Allen Parkway in Houston. We will assemble on the public sidewalk adjacent to the Royalton at River Oaks, a large condominium building on the southern side of Allen Parkway, where U.S. Senator Ted Cruz resides. We appreciate the endorsement of the March 8 action by Houston Peace Council, Houston Communist Party, People Before Profits, Communist Party USA-Houston (list in formation). Please plan to join us if you can, and please spread the word. Cruz has been leading the opposition to comprehensive immigration reform and a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, so all of us should be proud to lead the opposition to Cruz.
