From Dogtown---Well, no matter how many chew bones are out, Vanessa and Silky both want the same one. Mom had bought some big ones online, and they turned out to be REALLY big...almost bigger than Silkys and Vanessas mouths can handle. And they are really LONG---about 18 inches. I had this brilliant idea to take a hacksaw to them and at least make them shorter. Mom started one today and showed me and said she didnt think it would work...just barely made a dent. So I took the hacksaw and worked on it tonight. Vanessa and Silky watched all evening (Miss Moffat just looked on from her crate...didnt like the noise), just dying to get their little chompers on that chew bone...each hoping for half. FINALLY got the darn thing sawed up (already beginning to get a little sore from sawing on it for so long!). Gave each of them half....neither one wanted it! OF COURSE! And, Miss Moffat decided that since the noise had calmed down, shed get out of her crate and drape herself over the arm of the couch. And guess what....she licked on one of the halves and chewed on it for a minute. Go figure!
