From Dr. Jeff Butts: Yesterday a resolution and supporting document ) was adopted by the Indiana Association of Career & Technical Education Districts at their monthly meeting held at our Career Center. This was hand delivered to the House Ways and Means leadership and Senate Finance leadership yesterday. We are trying to STOP the Governors budget bill language from becoming a part of the House or Senate budget bills because it will provide less support for CTE programs across the state. In Wayne Township we will receive 15% less the first year and 40% less by 2019-20. A devastating blow to CTE programming. The documents have been copied and pasted in the notes entitled Unintended Consequences of the Governor’s Proposed CTE Funding Formula.
