From Dylan of Human Nature in the interest of clearing the air and so that everyone may know: Honestly, I cannot understand why it is so difficult for people to accept and believe that Filipino scientists can be honest and talented. I am immensely proud of our people - they are true geniuses in my eyes. They have so many restrictions on what they can and cant use and they are forced to fully investigate the manufacturing process and material origin of every single ingredient they use. They normally have to present a stack of evidence close to 100 pages thick in order for our Research and Testing group and Regulatory group to agree to accredit the ingredient before they can even begin to prototype using it. Our formulators are not allowed to use anything which has not passed independent scrutiny by our internal panel of assessors. Even simple palm-based ingredients need to have an RSCPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil) certificate. I believe were the only brand in the Philippines which goes this far to ensure integrity in our products. Many suppliers will not comply with our very stringent evidence gathering, so we cant work with them. Beyond this, the majority of ingredients in every product have to be able to be grown in the Philippines. If it wont grow here, we only use it if there is genuinely no alternative which will grow here and as long as the majority WILL grow here. Filipino scientists CAN be among the best in the world. Our team proves it to me over and over again. Made in the Philippines CAN mean just as good as Made in France or Made in Japan. This is why Filipinos succeed in just about every country you go to around the world, because you ARE talented, hardworking and creative. Filipinos are JUST AS GOOD as an American or Brit. There was a time when Made in Japan and Made in Korea both meant low quality, but not today. Made in the Philippines is something that Human Nature is pushing hard to prove can be just as good. For me, it is truly a miracle that our formulators are able to release new products every 8 weeks, with no harmful chemicals and with all the other restrictions we impose on them. It is proof to me that my personal faith in the Filipino is well placed. Some people will never believe and I cant change that. But I believe it enough myself to give my life to this country :)
