From Elsewhere....Dear Devotees, All of your various understandings about what our Vaishnava Acharyas have taught about Jesus Christ have been taken out of their proper historical and theological context, and you have 100% rejected my honest testimony regarding what Dr. Acharya Prabhakar Mishra and Dr. Rup Lal Batra taught me about this very important subject. Dr. Mishra was not only Srila Prabhupadas beloved First Disciple, but he was a renowned Sanskrit Shastra Acharya and Srila Prabhupadas own Sanskrit Guru, as well as a famous Ayur Vedic Doctor. Dr. Mishra was vastly learned in the Shastras and in the writings of our Gaudiya Vaishnava Acharyas. In fact, he had many of these Shastras and Traditional Commentaries perfectly memorized! He could teach from the Srimad Bhagavatam, the Bhagavad-gita and other Shastras perfectly from memory! He could even perfectly quote numerous commentaries on every verse of these massive Scriptures! I personally witnessed how he could teach flawlessly from multiple Scriptures and Commentaries without ever using any reference Books. Being such a scriptural genius is why Srila Prabhupada named him Acharya. He was also the Head of the Sanskrit Department of the Indian Governments post-British Raj scriptural publishing project at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Bombay, and the revered Head of an Ayur Vedic College and other academic, religious and cultural organizations. Srila Prabhupada lived with him for over 5 years in Jhansi, where they founded the League of Devotees together. Because Dr. Mishra was an Ayur Vedic Physician and Srila Prabhupada a Pharmacist, they were both very knowledgeable about the Ayur Vedic Medical Tradition, including the pan-Indian Traditions of the hidden incarnation of Lord Baladeva as the Great Physician, Ananta-Charaka. Dr. Mishra was devoted to Srila Prabhupada and continued to financially support him for years, even after Srila Prabhupada left Jhansi to try to help his son with the family business, which was failing. Dr. Mishra and Dr. Lal Batra tried to help Srila Prabhupada in India with his ISKCON Mission. They were both Life Members of ISKCON and Dr. Lal Batra (who was Mahatma Gandhis personal Assistant, and one of Indias greatest leaders after Gandhi), was instrumental in securing the Land in Vrindavan for the Krishna-Balarama Mandir. Dr. Mishra and Dr. Lal Batra were 100% humbly faithful to Srila Prabhupada, and on their own merits they were venerated all over the Region as great saintly Vaishnavas. I personally witnessed how government and religious leaders from all over the Region (India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kashmir) honored these two very humble and renowned men as living Vaishnava Acharyas and venerable Saints. So why would such knowledgeable masters and humble saintly Persons, who were so profoundly devoted to Srila Prabhupada, be wrong, or lie to me about what Srila Prabhupada or our Vaishnava Acharyas believed, knew, taught or did? Why would they bless my research and realizations about Baladeva and the Jesus Christ of Apostolic (Guru, Shastra and Sadhu) Christianity and publicly declare that my devotional service was able to harmonize the history and theology of the East and the West? Why would they say that Srila Prabhupada and Gandhiji arranged our miraculous meeting to fulfill a life-long dream of Srila Prabhupadas? Why would they instruct me on how to fulfill that Non-Sectarian League of Devotees dream of Srila Prabhupsadas? Why would they publicly endorse my research and realizations unless they were SURE about the validity my conclusions? Since they were vastly more qualified than any of the people who have attacked the truth and credibility or relevance of my devotional service, or who have attacked me personally, it is their instructions and blessings that I cling to. Miraculously I was blessed to encounter them in Kathmandu, and then, together they publicly sought me out and formally anointed me to carry on Srila Prabhupadas League of Devotees as a Global Non-Sectarian Mission. They even held public events to announce this anointing and my appointment to various positions of service under their authority. This is all history. And, in spite of my increasing physical disability from post polio syndrome, they never gave-up on me, and continued to write to me in America, and to encourage me to carry-on in my devotional service, despite ALL opposition. So, as I accepted them as my Siksha Gurus (when I met them in 1982, after Srila Prabhupadas disappearance), I am still properly situated in my devotional service to Srila Prabhupada and I am not in any kind of conflict with Srila Prabhupada on any of these subjects. Rather, my in-depth understanding of the context of all of these related historical and theological issues harmonizes all of the apparent contradictions. Dr. Mishra and Dr. Lal Batra carefully examined and tested me and my research and realizations, and they both came to the same conclusion, giving me their full blessings in my devotional service to Srila Prabhupada and to the Non-Sectarian Global Hari Nama Sankirtan Mission of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai. Having taken shelter of their blessings and instructions, I am still carrying-on, despite the many vicious barking dogs that have been snapping at me and threatening me. Hare Krishna! Hare Rama! Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai ki jaya! Srila Prabhupada ki jaya!
