From Faith: Hi! Just a quick update. After all the highs and lows with Steves health we finally think we are on the mend! .as you know Steve went in wed am for emergency/life saving surgery....not due to a ruptured disc but due to an abscess on his spine which ate into his bone And rendered him septic....they say if he had been a weaker man he would have gone into cardiac arrest and his kidney would have shut down....due to the amazing drs at spirit lake e.r. we were rushed to sf er and surgeon called in asap for emergency surgery.after 6 hrs in ICU Steve was back to looking and talking like himself again. So starts the long road to recovery.. now we are at home with in home visits a hospital bed, Pic line, Iv antibiotic drips ,and new look on life! Please know how much it meant to us on the busiest holiday of the year to step in for our absence at the lake and see our family had a great vacation. How do you thank people for such unselfishness? We will forever be grate full we chose camp Boji as our home away from home! Cant say when we can come back up but we definately are on the road to recovery and grateful for a new outlook and renewed faith in Gods power! Bless you all so much. Love faith and steve
