From Faith: THERE IS NO DRESS FITTINGS ON September 28th. Crystal Berkes Please make sure all Katy/Houston models know this. Make-Up starts at 6:30AM, all Models must report at 6:30am to the Hotel Lobby - The Tremont House After you get your make up on, you will be fitted in the Dress I have selected for you, I will have a back-up dress ready. (from Nikki) Austin Models please have the 6th through the 8th off of December I would like to be in Galveston by 3pm. Only 2 of you will make one change.... everyone else will only wear one dress. I am working on the Order of the Show Right now with Rich. As the Designer, I have a story that the Line-Up will tell. It will follow the story of Charles Dickens - A Christmas Carol. After I have the order, like all giant projects, we will get a project plan in place with tasks and resources assigned to tasks... Rich and I have over 40 years between us of Large Global Project Management. We are assessing our risks currently, which we will address... After you have been fitted into a dress, Rich will practice on our new camera, and you will be taken to the Grand Staircase in the Davidson Annex to show a complete view of the dress (Front, Side, and Back) we must have these view to sell the gown... Just so you know, we will not be focusing on this aspect as part of your model portfolio, the attention is on the gown only, If we ever hope to sell one gown, people want to see the complete gown on all sides. During the show, Nicole will capture the runway shots which are as much about the gown and the model. We have already invited other well known photographers of several magazines and news papers to come and shoot the collection as well, they have access to magazines we can only dream of getting in. So everyone will want to be on their game. Practice the walk..... of course, I think you all are already perfect, perfect, perfect. Most of all, we are going to have fun this time. After the photo sessions at the end of the show and people looking over the gowns to purchase, you will have tickets to enjoy Dickens on the Strand. I will only have one ticket per model. If you are not going to go out on the strand for Dickens you will not need a ticket. If your family drives in for this, I promise you will have fun. You can also look up Moody Gardens, it will blow you mind, it is only 10 minutes from the Stand, they have everything from a giant Paddle Boat , Penguins, to 3 large Eco Pyramids... ect. Crystal ... I will get with you on the back room staff and security Staff tasks and get them in the plan. Also for the staff that will be passing out flyers through out Dickens all morning prior to the show, I will get those tasks in the timeline too. Rich gave me good feedback... This is a media event, and all photographers we can find will be invited to photograph you for the "Raise Awareness Campaign" Moving forward, I will not be posting anything about our planning process.... It is pretty boring ... everyone just enjoy, it will be fun... 6:30 AM report time on December 7th, 2013 at the Hotel... Promise not to laugh at us taking the silly pictures we take... just consider our photos the fun time shots ...
