From Ferguson to Marys electoral defeat last night and the general state of affairs, Im feeling some kinda way. So here is Lift Every Voice and Sing (The Negro National Anthem) penned by James Weldon Johnson on February 12, 1900 in homage to the birthdate of Abraham Lincoln.
