From Forbidden Hillcrest today..so terribly sad and senseless. Local legend and musician TC Edwards (on right) was murdered yesterday morning at 2200 hundred block of Howard street (near 22nd and Dennison). Police say they received an alarm call around 4AM yesterday morning and responded to the residence finding an unknown person dead on the carport from a single gunshot wound to the head. Although police still claim they dont know the identity of the deceased for some reason, we know from friends that its the body of TC. TC was the singer of a band called TC and the Eddies as well as the subject of a Metal band Rockumentary called TC and Me made by his best friend Mike Poe (on the left in the photo). If youve never seen him perform, perhaps youve seen him socializing at Pizza-D, he was a regular there for the last decade-plus. Over the last few years, TC (who was autistic) was the victim of ongoing bullying (robbery, burglary, theft, assault -- and finally murder) at the hands of certain men in his neighborhood. It is my understanding that he was in the process of testifying against them in court and was hoping to get resolution and justice on the matter soon, yet was very fearful about it.
