From Frank Thomas Smith Frank Thomas Smith advises elsewhere: Dear Friends, SouthernCrossReview.org Number 93 (March-April 2014) is now on your cyber-doorstep at SouthernCrossReview.org . In the “Editor’s Page” your editor reminisces about yesterday and even mentions today. A section called “Interview” contains a terrific interview with Jorge Luis Borges (in English). And in “Fiction” there is one of his fabulous short stories, as well as one by Paul Holler and…yes, by Yours Truly. A special “Essay” provides a deeply interesting study by Dr. John Salter about Death and Love. In the “Children’s Corner” we offer Oscar Wilde’s famous and moving “The Happy Prince” in English and Spanish. And a little verse by me called The Little Plant, written 45 years ago, which I just discovered has been floating around the Internet almost since it has existed – anonymously. In “Features” there’s a recent New York Times article telling us why we should Cry for Argentina. Anthroposophy: First Class Lessons fifteen and sixteen by Rudolf Steiner, the continuation of his Karmic Relations lecture and a separate lecture about the True and False Paths of Spiritual Investigation. Poetry: just short one. And lots of Letters – mostly positive, I’m happy to say. Enjoy! [it might say Nr. 92 below, but the link should take you to Nr. 93]
