From Glenda: We are redoing the Oregon Trail museum and need some help. We are trying to find pictures of all the farmers in the area...Nyssa and Adrian as we want to post them on the wall you face when coming in the door. We want current and former farmers, deceased, etc and their wives and anyone that helped them as an employee on the farm. It needs to be a picture that is large enough to see as will be on the wall. If they have frames thats great, otherwise I will make some cardboard frames to put them all on. Then sometime in late April we are going to ask people to come down and help us redo the museum. Also we are going to have a special room at the side for nothing but Veterans and we want their pictures too...we have quite a few but lots more veterans in the area than we have. And, if anyone wants to work, well put a note out what day we are going to work down there. My son in law, Scott Hanson, has offered to paint the entire building outside. It really needs it and he has a spray painter and ladders and is a good painter. He is artistic too so Im going to see if he can do an Oregon Trail motif. Another thing that a friend mentioned is to have a room with nothing but teachers of Nyssa and Adrian......and there has been a space provided where Mr. McPartland and Mrs. Poor I know of have their pictures there and its great. So, anything anyone can do to help us...bring the pictures and yourselves if possible. You can take them too also to M&W Market and Charlie has agreed that he will put them in an envelope so I can pick them up often. Glenda Barnes
