The outage includes the Volcano area, Glenwood, Kalapana, Nanawale Estate and Panaewa. Crews are on scene working as quickly as they can to restore power, but HELCO officials say the safety of their employees and customers is their top priority. Power will be restored as soon as possible without jeopardizing the safety of employees.
