From Hopelessness to Hope. In 2006, as a way of thanking God for kindness and he has extended to our family, we decided to give a helping hand to a young girl by the name of Aisha Nabukeera aged 11 years after she was brutally burnt by her step mother.Name any kind of insult was thrown at me that i was using Nabukeera for selfish ends that actually i had bought a Mercedes Benz using money generated from her name yet the first day i met Aisha Nabukeera in Masaka Court, its the car i was driving and Ugandans should know that in our family we value friends than cars actually my dad used to take to a nursery school in an Audi, actually i grew up seeing three cars in my dads compound, 2 trucks and one salon car, so those who fancy cars belong to the 1986 Exodus group. Parenting goes beyond paying school fees, children wil follow your example not your advice, today was an official visitation day at St.Lawrence London College Campus, we went to wish Aisha Nabukeera success in her S.6 Final exams which are starting on 10th November. To those of you who supported Nabukeera financially, who prayed for her, May Allah reward you and to Mr.Mukibi who awarded Aisha Nabukeera a scholarship from S.1 up to the University, May God Bless You. Again my sincere thanks to the staff and management of St.Lawrence Schools. We wont be remembered by how many building we left, how many cars we drove, how many titles we held but how many lives we touched. I have to also appreciate Aisha Nabukeera for being a disciplined young girl and her not forgeting her history. Africans we are very good at forgeting were we come from. Tomorrow Monday 3rd November, i will be live on 87.9 Akaboozi from 9.15am to 11am. We will be discussing the urgent need of leadership in our leaders and why the current Youth in Uganda cant do what the Youth in Burkina Faso did.
