From IL State Representative Ann Williams: I am thrilled to announce that Audubon School has been awarded a $750k Illinois Green Infrastructure Grant by the Illinois EPA. With the help of Governor Pat Quinn, Illinois Senate President John J. Cullerton, and Alderman Ameya Pawar we were able to secure this funding for Phase II of their Village Schoolyard Project. This would not be possible without the tireless efforts and dedication of the Audubon community, including Principal Fitzner, parents, community members, teachers and staff. A big congratulations and thank you for all that you do and making this a reality. I hope you will join all of us for a special grant award ceremony at Audubon on Saturday, October 25th beginning at 9:30 a.m. Go HAWKS!!
