From Ishqzaade movie. A movie about a Hindu boy who falls in love with a Muslim girl. At first he chose to listen to the voice of tribal hatred dictated the him by society, and refused to not listen to her voice lurking inside of him to be together. So he tricked her into sleeping with him by lying to her and telling her that he will change his religion for her and marry her. He even got sheikh and two witnesses to witness on their marriage. Which was all part of a plan to revenge her and shame her family, thinking that his tribe will win the elections by this lousy act of revenge. The girls heart gets broken when he faces her with his awful plan and tries to kill him, when she meets his mom and tells her the whole story. His mom decides to stand up with the girl specially now that she is her daughter in law and because her family will give up on her and kill her eventually. His mother chooses to listen to the voice of righteousness inside her regardless of whatever social judgments. And tells the girl that her victory will not be gained by revenge, but with winning him to her side specially now that she is rejected by everyone else and now he is the only family she have. And she tells her son that it is his duty as a man to protect her and accepts her as his wife. The mom gets killed after that and the son decides to listen to his moms last wish and decides to dedicate his life to protect her and to make her happy, maybe then his mom will rest in peace in her grave. He knows he cannot cheat this time and that he must choose the love he felt first time he saw her and to have faith in this instead of some tribalism hatered bullshit. My point here is there is a lot of emotions we can feel towards those we love, sometimes they are a mix of hatred, judgment and love. But to choose to have faith in what we have felt initially, and never let any of the feelings that comes next to affect that faith is true Manhood. It always takes a real man to have faith in that first strike of love. And it always takes a Boy to let the last thing he remembers to define how he should be attracted the girl he loves.
