From January 2003 to October 2006 I had the pleasure and honor of meeting a young man who was already ahead of the curve with our support program, skill in his own class, and just pure talented gate starts. Johnny Culbreth Jr.was this young man and he also was a Hampton VA Super Track local. His father was a strong positive supporter of Johnny and of the Bulldog Brand. Through talking with the owner of Bulldog Bikes, Johnny Jr. had already established a name for himself on the NBL and ABA circuit. With limited supply of race frames available, here at BDG, Johnny received his first Bulldog Blackstar through me, Roy Washington Jr. Johnny continued to dominate his class until he re-injured himself. With the youth healing so fast now you can now see Johnny Culbreth still destroying the competition for another factory team. Johnny remains to be a top notch factory caliber rider. He remains to be one of Bulldogs favorite up and coming pros. Through Bulldog, Johnny Culbreth was able to help me keep The race portion of the business in appearance by all means necessary. Keeping the bike out front is important and Johnny understood that. Bulldog Bikes World Wide represents hungry riders like Johnny who are determined and partially supported through one or both parents. Johnny Culbreth Sr. was that parent who seemed to be the other half of Johnny Jr.s positive life focus. Johnny Culbreth Sr. remains to be the most caring fathers that Ive ever me or as they come. Talk about determined....Johnnys father remained in contact with me until he got his sons race frame. His father also helped out at Hampton Super Track. A positive trait of what family and bmx should be is what they have and that fact often reminded me of my dad and my experiences from the past. To see Johnny Sr. happy that Johnny Jr. won his race or just remained consistent, during the weekend, was priceless. The training, Johnny Jr. puts in, seemed to be rooted through his fathers athletic past and Johnny Jrs trail and sprint skills that Ive witnessed. Whether riding VA beachs Ipswitch Trails or just winning an East Coast National... this young ripper remains dedicated to his riding and it shows. This is a shoutout to my bro and Bmxican Johnny Culbreth Jr. and Sr. for the Brand selection and representing Bulldog Bikes World Wide the way you did.............Out front. His fathers attendance race vibe seem to be with no pressure, just fun and I thought that was special. We here at the Bulldog headquarters are very proud of Mr. Culbreths previous and future accomplisments on his BMX. We also wish Mr. Culbreth good luck in all the skillful talents he posesses and its shows on fb. This is a dedication to Johnny Culbreth Jr. who kicked ass and made name for himself through the family brand. Enjoy the pics of the real Dad in D.K. and of course the Kid Mr. Culbreth Jr. in the company of Andrew Townsend (another Hampton Super Track local) and Legend Bulldog Dave itskindofabigdeal.
