From Jen Fashing: Deaf Dogs do Rock!! Heres my little angel, Boomer! I have grown up around dogs my entire life and he is my first very own. I got him when he was a puppy from a lady on craigslist. I had no idea he was deaf until a few weeks of being in his new home. I thought it was particularly odd that he would sleep through a vacuum cleaning session while he was in the same room. I took him to a specialist and had him checked- definitely deaf! Hes almost 3 now, great with hand commands and I wouldnt trade him for the world
