From Jim Carter, Ive had several MMTC folks asking about availability of RonHill winter running gear (mainly Trackster warm-up pants and various jackets, gloves, hats, etc.). I can place a club order directly with RonHill in the UK. Over the next 3 weeks workouts, I, with Mike Hammonds help, will have a catalog and some order forms available for those that are interested. Ill also have MMTC pricing and a few samples as well. I have also attached an order form folks can send me via e-mail. Ill place the order the first week of November. The items should arrive by early December. Folks can also visit the RonHill website: ronhill to get an overview of the items available, including details on the high tech material options and sizing. The line is designed for cold weather layering allowing different combinations depending on the weather temperature, precipitation, etc. For those who are not familiar, Ron Hill, 3-time Olympian, held several world records back in the late 60s and early 70s and was the 1970 Boston Marathon winner. With a PhD in textile chemistry, he was the first to apply high tech material applications to running clothing, was the inventor of side split running shorts, and was the first runner to apply carbohydrate loading for marathon preparation. Folks can also call me, 517-896-1150, if they have any questions.
