~*~ From Just Channeling ~*~ Angel of the Week: The Angel of Cleansing. This Angel encourages you to take the time this week to focus on cleansing negative energies that have accumulated within you. Over time, you will have picked up the negative energies of people and places unconsciously. You also have your own negativity to release, that has built up through misperceptions, guilt and regret. One method of doing this is a spiritual bath. Taking a spiritual bath: Place purifying herbs such chamomile, rosemary, or juniper in some muslin and tie it to form a small bag. Hang the bag from the faucet allowing the bathwater to run over it infusing the bathwater with the cleansing energy of the herbs. Submerge your entire body in the herbal water, including your hair. While sitting in the tub, use your hands to pour water over yourself visualizing it cleansing you of all negativity. When you are finished, spend a few moments enjoying the restoration of positive energy, then rinse the tub with sea salt and warm water, to send any residual negativity down the drain. As you dry off, see the radiance of your inner light, the sun of your soul, filling you and purifying all of your physical and subtle bodies. If you don’t have a bathtub you can do a purification shower. Hang the herb bag over the shower-head.
