From Kayleen and Janet: THANK YOU, Club Pet friends, from the bottom of our hearts for yesterday’s response to “Ten on Tuesday.” We can account for 58 committed pledges, which means we raised $580 toward our $1,000 goal. Since some of our Facebook friends encountered a bit of a glitch when the pledges did not number sequentially as we thought they would - and since it is Wednesday - we would like to extend our request to help us “Get Over the Hump on Hump Day.” Most of you would not be aware that while yesterday’s fundraising effort was ongoing, Dianna refused to give up on a dog that had complications during a neuter and committed the money to save his life rather than let him suffer or put him down. Last night, she spent the entire night trying to nurse another dog with a broken heart and wounded body through a serious illness. This is what Club Pet is about. If you can please find it in your heart to pledge $10 so that we can get these vet bills paid off, enabling us to help the next wounded soul, we would be forever grateful - and so would they.
