From Kentucky Transportation Cabinet: At the request of police, KYTC crews have blocked off US 41 at the south edge of Slaughters and at the north edge of Madisonville. KY 260 is closed near the Outlet Mall just off the Pennyrile Parkway Interchange and at the east edge of Hanson. The Pennyrile Parkway is a viable alternate route for north-south traffic. However, traffic will not be allowed to enter Hanson from Pennyrile Parkway Exit.49. Southbound traffic on US 41 is blocked at Slaughters. Northbound traffic on US 41 is blocked near the High School at the north edge of Madisonville.
